In 1952, Gerhard Geiger laid the foundation stone for the company with the development of the first drive for sun protection.
With entrepreneurial skill, he managed the company for many decades and set the course that is still the essential basis for the company's success today. He made the transition from a small handicraft business to an industrial company with over 250 employees and customers all over the world.
His ideas, enormous commitment, perseverance and diligence are some of the reasons for the company's development.
Even after retiring from various functions, Gerhard Geiger was always connected to the company’s activities. The continued existence of the company, the well-being of the employees and the preservation of jobs in Bietigheim-Bissingen were very important to him.
It is with great gratitude for his exemplary commitment and his responsible care for the employees that we take our leave and will remember him with high esteem.
His ideas and values will live on in the company.
